Flight basket - amend

Amend the basket to add optional extras, seats, and passenger details.

Note

Providing PassengerDetails and setting TargetBookingStage="confirmed_costing" (or leaving TargetBookingStage unset) moves the basket to CurrentBookingStage="confirmed_costing" at which point the basket cannot be amended any further.

If you are likely to want to amend the basket multiple times (e.g to keep changing seats) you should instead set TargetBookingStage="passenger_details" until you are ready to switch to TargetBookingStage="confirmed_costing".

Alternatively you could replace the entire basket with a new one of the same specification. See example.

We’re now ready to add consumer details and at the same time we select some optional extras and seats.
We amend our pre-existing basket, by specifying the BasketId from the previous response.
Again we are continuing the same session.
We want the consumer contact details to be shared with the supplier, so Paxport Customer Service team has configured this.
